Heidi Brandt
As the Founder and Director of the Healing Heights Foundation, an esteemed non-profit organization committed to advancing mental wellness, Heidi harbors a profound dedication to assisting individuals in navigating their mental health challenges—a mission stemming from her personal experiences and triumphs over similar adversities. The inception of this foundation was not merely a personal pursuit but was driven by a compelling inner drive that demanded acknowledgment and action. Thanks to the unwavering support of remarkable individuals who embraced this vision, the Healing Heights Foundation was established.
In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Heidi is a dedicated Real Estate Agent at HOME Real Estate, residing in Lincoln, NE, alongside her dog Zeke. Her leisure time is characterized by an affinity for the outdoors, including activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, and exploring scenic locales.

Ami Heffelfinger Marx
With a distinguished career spanning 24 years, Ami Heffelfinger Marx stands as a beacon in the realm of clinical psychotherapy. As a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Ami has honed her expertise, specializing predominantly in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Her commitment to fostering mental wellness extends beyond individual therapy sessions. Ami collaborates with the Nebraska Department of Education, extending her expertise to provide invaluable mental health services within various school districts. In this capacity, she plays an instrumental role in working with students, conducting threat assessments and enriching the social-emotional learning framework within educational institutions.

Additionally, as a Board Member of the Healing Heights Foundation, Ami brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Her expertise spans mental health, self-awareness, critical thinking, and collaborative skills. Through her involvement, she ardently supports and nurtures a community environment that prioritizes well-being, understanding, and mutual growth.

His tenure as a high school principal has ingrained in him a deep appreciation for the critical role of mental health awareness and the role it must play in the education of our students, adults, and communities. His career is marked by a fervent dedication to nurturing the growth and development of school leaders. Central to his philosophy is the integration of mental health awareness within a systemic framework for effective school leadership. This holistic approach underscores his commitment to fostering environments where educators and students thrive. As a Healing Heights Foundation Board Member, Ryan brings a wealth of experience and a visionary outlook toward creating sustainable, positive changes in our communities.
